What kind of maintenance should I expect on the motor?

There is no specific maintenance for the motor. We do however recommend general servicing every 3-6 months depending on your usage. 

While we've taken care in manufacturing to select as many "normal" bike components to make servicing as easy as possible and thus our bikes can be serviced at a "normal" bike shop. We also recognize that many local bike shops are still getting comfortable with e-bikes. Our support team is always available to share information and instructions on various service-related questions. 

In the fall of 2022, we partnered with VeloTooler (www.Velotooler.com) to offer service to maintain and service your bike. They are a network of over 180 independent bike mechanics throughout the country. 

We have a warehouse in the USA that holds all our parts if anything specific is necessary for repairs. We also have a service center here in Brooklyn which can service your bike in the NY Metro area.
