Can I change the handlebar of my Vela?

We do not recommend it, as we work with handlebars that have been tested for full operation with our electrical components. The exchange can result in the loss of warranty if there are changes in the brake system and electrical assistance of the motor. 

We also have a lot of riders in Brazil switch to shorter or straight bars. We recommend talking to your local mechanic prior to making a switch to different handlebars.
