Do the Vela Bikes have Disc Brakes?

The Vela Vento utilizes zoom mechanical-hydraulic disc brake calipers with Shimano 160mm disc brake rotors. 

The Vela 2 utilizes traditional V brakes. They provide significant stopping power and are easier to maintain.
